What the EKG DX name means?

The initial idea was to develop an artificial intelligence (still in development) that diagnoses any type of EKG. That is why we decided the name EKGDX. EKG stands for electrocardiogram and DX stands for diagnosis. The decision of the "K" in the word EKG, is in honor of Wilhelm Einthoven.

Let’s talk about sinus rhythm.

The term “sinus rhythm” is used when the rhythm originates in the sinus node at atrial rate in between 60-100 bpm.

Criteria

Normal P wave with constant morphology.
Regular atrial rate in between 60-100 bpm.
P wave is upright in lead II.

There are two exceptions where P wave can be negative in lead II and may still sinus originin:

Dextrocardia
Limb lead misplacement.

Note: It is important to clarify that sinus rhythm can be present in the setting of 2:1 AV block, third degree or complete AV block, etc.
