Let’s talk about sinus tachycardia.

Sinus tachycardia is characterized by normal sinus P waves at a rate >100 bpm.

Criteria

Possible causes:

  • Stress, anxiety
  • Pain
  • During exercise
  • During pregnancy
  • Sepsis
  • Hypoxia
  • PE
  • Hyperthyroidism
  • Abuse of cocaine, amphetamines, etc.
  • Others
