Let’s talk about sinus bradycardia.

Sinus bradycardia is characterized by normal sinus P waves at the rate <60 bpm.

Criteria

Sinus rhythm at a rate <60 bpm.

Note the sinus P waves with regular P-P interval at a rate of 56 bpm.

Another example of sinus bradycardia.

Trained athletes
High vagal tone
During sleep
PE
Inferior MI
Sick sinus
Hypothyroidism
Drugs (beta-blockers, amiodarone, verapamil, diltiazem, etc.)
