Sinus Bradycardia
Let’s talk about sinus bradycardia.
Sinus bradycardia is characterized by normal sinus P waves at the rate <60 bpm.
Criteria
- Sinus rhythm at a rate <60 bpm.
Note the sinus P waves with regular P-P interval at a rate of 56 bpm.
Another example of sinus bradycardia.
Possible causes:
- Trained athletes
- High vagal tone
- During sleep
- PE
- Inferior MI
- Sick sinus
- Hypothyroidism
- Drugs (beta-blockers, amiodarone, verapamil, diltiazem, etc.)
- Others
